SPADA, the screen producers’ guild in New Zealand, has named Robin Scholes as the recipient of the 2023 SPADA / The Data Book Industry Champion Award.
Individuals honored with the Industry Champion Award are recognized for showcasing dedication and expertise, making substantial contributions to New Zealand’s screen production industry.
Scholes, renowned for her role as a creative collaborator and producer, has been instrumental in working with some of the country’s most prominent filmmakers. Notable productions in her portfolio include Lee Tamahori’s Once Were Warriors (1994) and Andrew Adamson’s Mister Pip (2012).
