Tinsel over Twizel movie makers still hope to get to Twizel

Twizel has yet to feature in its namesake short film, Tinsel Over Twizel, but if the team behind it get their way, the town will soon have a starring role.

Director Pamela Guha and writer-producer Justin Eade devised the short film as proof of concept for a romantic comedy feature film they hope to film on location in Twizel.

The short, filmed near Nelson over Labour Weekend 2020, features Shortland St’s Nivi Summer as Tanya and Nelson actor Nick Kemplen as high country horse wrangler, Kiran.
