The New Zealand film industry has been a success story, with blockbusters such as The Lord of the Rings and Avatar putting us on the international stage. However, due to the outcome of a government review, the sector is now on a knife edge. According to government sources, the evaluation will be presented to Cabinet soon, and an announcement in June is expected to boost the sector.
