A new local feature film seeks to depict the protracted struggle for justice that unfolded over several years following the tragic 2010 Pike River mine explosion, which claimed the lives of 29 men.
The Pike River families’ relentless efforts have resulted in the authorization for re-entry into the mine, enabling the retrieval of crucial evidence and the remains of their dear ones, all in pursuit of closure and accountability.
