One of New Zealand’s top scientists has cautioned that news publishers may have difficulty getting artificial intelligence companies to pay for making use of their content. In order for newsgroups to receive payment from artificial intelligence (AI) platforms, according to Peter Gluckman, they will need to be “very specific” about how stories have been used by chatbots.
