The 2023 Whnau Mrama: New Zealand International Film Festival will feature a slate of titles fresh from Cannes, including the year’s Palme d’Or winner Anatomy of a Fall. The festival will screen films from around the world as well as new Aotearoa highlights, bringing Cannes to New Zealand. Justine Triet’s Anatomy of a Fall won the top prize at the French festival, making her the third female filmmaker to do so.
