Avatar producer Jon Landau says getting the film back up and running will bring jobs to 400 New Zealanders and pump over $70 million into the economy.
Filming resumed in Wellington on Avatar‘s sequels on Monday after the international crew ended their two weeks of compulsory isolation due to Covid-19.The 31 workers arrived through New Zealand’s tight borders this month after being given special permission by Economic Development Minister Phil Twyford.
