Jordan Mauger plans to convert an old hospital site in Canterbury into a film studio.
Plans to bring Hollywood to Christchurch have moved a step closer.
A resource consent application to build a multimillion-dollar film studio at the former Templeton Hospital site on the outskirts of the city have been submitted to Christchurch City Council.
Jordan Mauger, who is behind the development, says he is ready to start work on Temple Film Studio as soon as the consent is approved.
