Kiwi cinematographer Baz Idoine wins early Emmy award for The Mandalorian

Greig Fraser and Baz Idoine accepted their cinematography award at a virtual ceremony.

Kiwi cinematographer Barry “Baz” Idoine has won an Emmy for his work on live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian.

Idoine shared the award for outstanding cinematography for a half-hour, single camera series with Oscar-nominated Australian director of photography Greig Fraser.The critically acclaimed series, which airs on the Disney+ streaming platform, is set five years after the Return of the Jedi film and follows the adventures of a Mandalorian gunslinger named Din Djarin.
